International Student Program 2022

Mordialloc College would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land – the Bunurong/Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin nation, and pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging. As a school and community, we are committed to a greater understanding and appreciation of Indigenous culture.

On June 1 our ILC (Intensive Language Course) ran a special session to teach our international students about Indigenous Australians. Through the session, students learnt about the First Nation’s people, their rich culture, beliefs, and respect for the land.

Thank you to our new, very experienced EAL teacher Teresa Reisch, who organised the materials and activities for this wonderful class. The students worked with Mrs Reisch to knit their own Indigenous patterns and make various artworks.
