We are very happy to see that our international students are participating in so many activities around the College.
Friday 18 March 2022 was National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence. With the guidance of our Wellbeing staff along with local students, the international students created posters on this topic in their own languages on the display board.
This week we are celebrating Cultural Diversity. Our International Language Centre students joined the Year 10 Assembly. International Student Coordinator Qun Joan Mao sang while Nick Z accompanied her on the cello. Together they performed a traditional Chinese song. Cheryl greeted everyone in her native language, Indonesian. Both Nick and Cheryl will leave the International Language Centre earlier than we expected and start their Year 10 mainstream from Term 2. Congratulations on their outstanding academic achievements!
Our students are enjoying a variety of international foods this week supplied by our school canteen, watching films from different countries and competing to produce the best poster. We appreciate the efforts made by all teachers and staff involved.
Message from our international students’ parents/guardians: Thank you Mordialloc College and school community for offering so many lunch activities/clubs during the school lunch time.
