Before the busy Headstart progam commenced, the International students had an exciting Christmas party, celebrating the completion of exams. All students enjoyed chatting, the Australian sunshine and sharing their experiences . There is a total of 11 new students attending the Headstart course, including three in Year 9, five in Year 10 and three in Year 11. Most of them are very excited but some are feeling overwhelmed about their new mainstream courses and the new study environment. However, the Headstart weeks helped the new students settle into the school community more easily and be well prepared for the next year of study.
We have a very experienced team of dedicated staff who support our International students to achieve success in their studies. We pay very close attention to their learning needs and the welfare of this unique student group, to ensure the international students have an enjoyable and a successful study experience in Australia.
The International Students who were taking Y12 Chinese subject in school were invited to the graduation ceremony held by our Chinese school XJS Chinese School on 26 November. The show was very impressive and the student enjoyed it very much. Onsite classes provide convenience for our students, avoiding travel cost and saving time. Our Chinese school is a well-known and leading school with professional teachers.
The Year 12 International students enjoyed the awards night last week and the unforgettable performance night for celebrating the graduation of Yr12 students. The students used this opportunity to show their appreciation of their teachers. We were happy that International student, Jason Tang’s parents could attended our fantastic Awards night. The Yr 12 International students looked fabulous in the show.
