On Friday 13 September, ten students from Mordialloc College’s Chess Club participated in an Interschool Chess Tournament held at St Catherine’s School in Toorak. In a hotly contested tournament, Tony Fan and Darby Blinco topped our scores with 4 and 3 points respectively out of 7 games. Despite the mental challenge of playing 7 games in a row, all of our students thoroughly enjoyed the day. We are looking forward to improving our skills even further before the next interschool chess tournament.
