Last Thursday night Jane Jamieson, Shelley Muir, Jen Roep and I attended the Applied Learning Awards at
the Brighton International. Mordialloc was one of the major winners on the night with Shelley Muir winning
VCAL teacher of the year and two of our students winning awards.

Niyati Kumar
won the VCAL Literacy award for the region

Kieran Begg won
the VCAL Work related skills award and also went up on stage a second time winning the SBAT – Certificate II in Plumbing award.

A fantastic achievement to Shelley and students Niyati and Kieran!! Well done also to Celeste Harris –Bazil, Milly Waters and Leandrie Van Der Berg for receiving
a nomination certificate
